Can the Israeli-Palestinian conflict be taught in fair and evenhanded fashion in Massachusetts classrooms?
That’s a real concern, given the polarized climate that has resulted after Hamas’s horrifying terrorist attack on Israel on Oct. 7, 2023, and Israel’s devastating military response in Gaza.
It’s a worry made worse by actions and attitudes that seem to reflect an anti-Israel slant at the Massachusetts Teachers Association, which represents K-12 educators in most Massachusetts communities.
