Brookline Public School Superintendent Retracts Letter to Teachers Promoting Moral Ambiguity on Hamas Massacre
CAMERA – In the wake of a Palestinian terrorist invasion of Israel, the brutal massacres of more than 1000 civilians there, and the taking of numerous hostages, the Brookline Public School Superintendent sent out a letter to teachers suggesting that “there is no ‘right’ way to respond to a situation like this”and pointed them to anti-Israel sources that justify violence against Israelis and portray the Jewish state as an illegitimate, colonialist entity. After significant pushback by members of the Brookline community, he apologized for and recanted the letter.
